Restructured from an old inn, Hotel Riverside in Modena, is situated on the Via Emilia, 4 Km from the Modena Sud Motorway (A1) Exit, just few km from the center of Modena and 20 Km from Bologna. In just a few minutes you can reach the Bologna Exhibition Centre and the biggest industrial, commercial and touristic areas of this Italian region.

We are right in the middle of the "Motor Valley", where the most famous and expensive vehicles in the world: Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Ducati motorbikes...are made. Hotel Riverside is also near the biggest "acetaie", where the famous Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is produced. L'Hotel Riverside has 47 rooms: Standard, Superior and Suites.

Every soundproofed room is beautifully finished and offers every comfort: air conditioning, comfortable beds, radio, hairdryer, laundry service, direct dial telephone, wireless internet connection, minibar, safe, electric rolling shutter, shower, courtesy set in the bathroom...

Superior rooms are lovely 2-level rooms with 2 TVs, some with a kitchenette with a large fridge for those of you who want to stay for a while. Ideal for a family of up to 4 people and will surely make you feel like you are at home.

The Suites are really luxurious with 3 rooms, Jacuzzi for 2/4 people, equipped for romantic candle-light dinner served directly from our restaurant, 2 TVs, make-up corner and welcome gift. These are only some of the services offered to our customers and each suite can host up to 4 people, ideal for a get together with friends or a romantic rendezvous.

Location

From Bologna Exhibition Centre:
At Modena Sud Motorway (A1) Exit, turn immediately right and follow in the Modena direction. You'll cross a little town (San Donnino), then continue in the direction of Modena. Passing through San Damaso, near a sharp left bend, turn right following in the Bologna / Castelfranco Emilia direction. Drive on for about 2 Km. You'll reach the Via Emilia, then turn right, following in the Bologna direction. After 1 Km, you'll see Hotel Riverside on your left.

Using a GPS System, set "Sant'Ambrogio (San Cesario, MO)", or set our coordinates: Latitude: 44 37'24.18"N, Longitude: 10 59'58.13"E. If your GPS is not able to find San Ambrogio and you are coming from Bologna, set "Modena, via Emilia Est 1600" and you'll find Hotel Riverside 500mt before reaching that destination. If you are coming from Milan, set the same destination, and once you reach it, follow the road (Via Emilia) for another 500mt and you'll find Hotel Riverside on your left.
 
From Trenitalia Modena railway station, you can reach the Hotel directly by taxi.
You can also take an ATCM coach, line no. 19 in the direction of Castelfranco Emilia.
The Ponte S. Ambrogio bus stop is a few metres away from the Hotel.
 
The nearest airport is Guglielmo Marconi in Bologna (BLQ), 25 Km from the Hotel. You can take a taxi directly here or take the ATCM shuttle bus, a coach that connects Bologna Airport with Modena City every 2 hours. Is also possible to arrange a transfer with our private taxi service any time you want.
